CM Chandrababu Naidu, along with his wife, offered the silk cloths to the deity, marking the 14th time he has made this offering on behalf of the state government. Following the ceremony, the Chief Minister arrived at the Bedi Anjaneyaswamy temple at 7:55 PM, continuing the age-old tradition of honoring the deity.
After presenting the silk garments, a grand procession featuring mangala instruments made its way from the Bedi Anjaneyaswamy temple to the Srivari temple. At the temple’s main gate, Chandrababu Naidu was welcomed by TTD Executive Officer J. Shyamala Rao and Additional EO C.H. Venkaiah Chaudhary, who accompanied him throughout the visit.
The Chief Minister and his entourage paid their respects at various sacred sites within the temple complex, including Vakulamatha, Vimana Venkateswaraswamy, and Bhashyakarla Sannidhi, concluding their visit at Yoga Narasimhaswamy. Following the temple rituals, Vedic scholars performed blessings through the chanting of Vedic mantras in the Ranganayakula Mandapam.
The EO also presented the teerthaprasadas of Srivari to the CM, further solidifying the spiritual significance of the event. CM Naidu was accompanied by the State Debt and Charities Minister Anam Ram Narayana Reddy, along with numerous officials and MLAs, underscoring the importance of the occasion for the state and its cultural heritage.

Officials reported that Naidu was standing on the Madhuranagar railway track to get a better view of the water flow when a train, traveling at significant speed, approached. Thanks to the prompt actions of the officials, the train slowed down and passed by safely. Naidu and his security team quickly moved away from the track, narrowly avoiding the train.
An eyewitness noted that the distance between Naidu and the train was just three feet, calling it a “close shave.” Security personnel promptly surrounded Naidu to ensure his safety and provide reassurance.

]]>NVVN, a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has engaged with the state authorities to implement solar rooftop systems in government buildings. A memorandum of understanding was formalized between NVVN and NREDCAP in the presence of the Chief Minister and Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar, along with other key officials.
The plan outlines the installation of 300 MW solar rooftop systems in government buildings as an initial phase. NVVN will be responsible for setting up these systems and providing electricity at a consistent tariff for 25 years. Additionally, NVVN will manage and maintain the systems at no cost during this period. This move is projected to result in significant savings for government departments on energy expenses.
The anticipated annual savings from implementing 300 MW solar rooftop systems in government buildings is estimated at 118.27 crore rupees. Over a span of 25 years, the total savings are projected to reach ₹2,957 crore. Furthermore, the installation of a 300 MW solar rooftop system is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 3.41 lakh metric tonnes annually or 85.25 lakh metric tonnes over the 25-year period.
