Two of the affected workers, Dev Baghand and Ugres Gowda from Odisha, are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Visakhapatnam city. While one worker’s condition is critical, medical teams are closely monitoring the others.

District Collector Vijay Krishnan has directed officials to ensure comprehensive medical care for the affected workers. He also called on industries and pollution control authorities to investigate the incident thoroughly and submit their findings. Minister Vasamsetty Subhash expressed his deep concern over the recurring safety lapses in Parawada’s pharma industry and assured that appropriate actions would be taken against those responsible for the toxic gas leak.
