According to government plans, **farmers with land up to 7 to 8 acres will be eligible for this assurance. The government is working closely with the Cabinet Subcommittee to finalize the guidelines, ensuring that the funds will only be allocated to actively cultivated lands.

The Financial Impact

Telangana has a total of 1.39 crore acres of cultivated land. The estimated funds required to implement Rythu Bharosa across the state amount to about Rs. 7,000 crore. To meet this, the government plans to distribute between Rs. 1,500 crore to Rs. 2,000 crore every 10 days, with the aim of depositing at least Rs. 7,000 crore into farmers’ accounts within the next 45 days.
