Ganapati Sankashta Chaturthi 2024 date, auspicious moment: According to Vedic Panchangam, Krishna Paksha Chaturthi Tithi of Bhadraprad month starts on September 20th at 9.20 PM and ends on the next day, September 21st at 6.15 PM. In such a situation, Ganapati Sankashta Chaturthi fasting day as per Udaya Tithi will be on 21st September 2024, Saturday. Moonrise will be at 8.27 PM today.

Ganapati Sankashta Chaturthi 2024 Pooja Vidhi: On this day, wake up early in the morning, clean the house, take a bath, and wear clean clothes. Now clean the pooja place or the pooja room in the house and purify it by sprinkling it with Ganga water. Now take a vow to fast before Lord Ganesha. Now spread a yellow cloth on a platform and place an idol or picture of Lord Ganesha and light a lamp and incense. Fasting on Sankashta Chaturthi day is done from sunrise to moonrise. Water or fruits are consumed during this fast. After the pooja, give arathi to Ganesha and then distribute the prasad to everyone. After moonrise in the evening, offer arghya to the moon and have darshan. Then break the fast. After the puja on this day, giving food to Brahmins and donating to the poor is considered particularly auspicious.
