The Meteorological Department has once again put Andhra Pradesh on alert as the West Central Bay of Bengal is expected to form, signaling heavy rains throughout the state. According to the IMD forecasts, a low-pressure system is likely to develop in the West Central Bay of Bengal and surrounding areas by Monday due to the influence of two surface circulations.

Ronanki Kurmanath, Managing Director of the Disaster Management Agency, highlighted the potential impact of the weather system. He stated that moderate to heavy rains are anticipated in certain regions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with lighter to moderate rainfall expected in other areas. In light of the forecast, residents are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary safety measures.
